I loved your review of this fascinating book and would love to win a copy. Thank you very much!
Good luck!
Hello there, I would love a copy of this book as I am intrigued by your review and put it on my to be purchased list (now over 300 books-yikes!)
It wouldn’t hurt to be able to cross one of those off, would it? Good luck! 🙂
Oh I loved your review of this one!
Thanks, Cathy!
The most despicable one in the past couple years is David in Nino Ricci’s book Sleep. He seems like he has it all until his sleep disorder slowly ruins his life, he destroys his career, his family leaves him and he gets involved with a fascination with guns.
Good one, Susan! He sounds like someone I’d like to read about!
I really did not love the book but the author really got me thinking when he asked the audience if you had to like the main character to like the book…
I enjoy unlikable characters!
My favorite despicable character is Ignatius J Reilly. And I loooove despicable characters!
I haven’t read that one – just added it to the list, though – I also like despicable characters!
Josef Mengele, from Mischling, you can’t get much worse than him. This character is difficult to like, Naomi.
That book’s in my pile – looking forward to it!
From the summary the book sounds awesome 🙂 hmm I have to say my favorite despicable characters include Henry viii from autobiography of King Henry viii by Margaret George, Snape from Harry Potter. Hmm ladies from sisters of Versailles and rivals of Versailles. Also Francesco from Prince’s Doom-David Blixt
Henry VIII is a good one! And Snape. Although, I did feel sorry for Snape a lot of the time. I don’t know the last three you mentioned, but others may know them. Thanks for sharing your picks!
Ok randome one-I just finished reading a self published book called “American Female” and the girl’s boss Rune is an absolute horror. I’ll be posting my review of it soon, you’ll see what i mean!
I’ll be watching for it!
